Amazing place, like something out of a fairytale! Stunning property, well-equipped, very comfortable, and truly unique.
We had a room in a different building, which was also beautiful. However, we had to walk a bit in the rain with all our luggage. The receptionist on the first evening was not very friendly, but I understand she might have had a difficult day. The receptionist on the second day, however, was one of the best I have ever met!
Beautiful location set in a very quaint 'magical' village. Friendly staff. Beautiful building and court yard. Dog-friendly, including provisions - bowls, treats, beds etc. Treats for us too - cookies and nougat! Bathroom with a bath, slippers, robe, toiletries etc. Parking available very close to the hotel. Lovely bistro within a short walking distance. Lovely restaurant on site that we took break...

Breakfast was excellent. Location in the town of Grignan was superb!. Gastronomic restaurant was very good but overpriced for what we got.

The architecture and interior design of this series of buildings comprised by Le Clair de la Plume was exemplary: I had already visited it in Grignan as a tourist (they have a gift shop with their own products) and knew how stunning it is. Service was impeccable, the breakfast was sumptuous including some lovely champagne. There were wonderful touches such as locally produced bespoke foods & toile...
The room was very small. Patchy wifi. The strong winds created a bit of a howling sound through the glass of the roof at the top of the staircase where my room was on the top floor. Minor issues!Read more
Charming with character, but also very clean, spacious and comfortable
The hotel and assortment of associated rooms are in the bottom of a charming village which was obviously a 'destination' as it was pretty crowded on 15 August. The welcome was warm and helpful, our beautiful room with excellent facilities was in a separate house just down the street. We were able to park our car close to the hotel and walked to La Ferme, their bistro restaurant for an excellent op...Read more
Wonderful historic buildings, perfect quiet setting, fabulous breakfast in pretty garden. Brilliant supper in the “bistro”.
Friendliness of the staff, beauty of the facility and the vile
Lovely hotel in a lovely place
The hotel failed to properly advise us that the festival in the village would mean loud beat music playing constantly until 2 in the morning which made sleep impossible. They had just told us three days before our arrival that there was a festival that went on until 1 am and this might make parking difficult. There was nothing in this pre arrival email to warn us to the extent and length of the no...Read more
