We booked the honeymoon suite and were given a different room because it was off season and the honeymoon suite wasn’t available. This was our honeymoon so we wanted privacy. It is hard to describe a perfect place like this. Even before our arrival, we felt welcomed and well informed. The place itself is not the highly polished tourist trap, it is a garden of warmth and wellbeing. The breakfast is plenty and local. The owners told us, they are going to add heating to one of the pools and better internet connection (maybe some mesh wifi instead of 3 different SSIDs too) - which will fix everything one might complain about. Everything else was just perfect!Read more
Two large swimming pools, well-equipped with comfortable sunbeds etc. Large and comfortable bedroom ( in main house) with large balcony overlooking pool. Beach is a few minutes walk away, through a wooded area. Dining by the poolside or in a dedicated restaurant building if it’s cool outside.
Interesting and unusual menu didn’t always hit the spot for us.
As soon as you walk in, all stress and strain evaporates. It has a magical energy. Staff are attentive and welcoming.
Charming hotel run by a family - very quaint and welcoming. Each room unique, the grounds verdant and two great swimming pools to enjoy, one with a wonderful swim up bar. Short walk to an average beach. Lovely breakfast room, friendly team, comfortable beds.
The garden, setting and the vibe of the hotel is very nice. The breakfast was also good and the staff at the breakfast were friendly.
The room we stayed had a really bad, musty smell. Its quite old in the room and definetely needs a bit of upgrading. The hot water in our shower did not work so had to take a cold shower. On top of it all, there was a small frog in the bathroom when we checked later (that's fine as the place is surrounded by lovely gardens). Very relaxed and fabulous pools. Food also v good.
Room a little basic with a stray cat which kept making it into our room! Insufficient staff to clear stuff. Way and to provide service to customers.

Peaceful, lovely location. Beautiful setting. Room and pool lovely. Food great.
Bar staff could be a bit friendlier/faster. Wine was very pricey!
