Gardens, pool and Ricardo and Francisca were amazing
Rooms surroundings, landscape not finished yet, breakfast food choice
The location and the site is absolutely stunning. The pool is gorgeous and our vineyard room was lovely. We did a walk nearby and the hotel staff dropped us off and told us the route which was great.
The service let down the overall experience. We often waited a long time for food/drinks, and sometimes never got what we ordered. The staff were very polite and apologetic, but the overall experience was let down by this. They also seemed quite stressed which impacted our experience.
Myself and a friend had a lovely stay at Lavandeira Douro, right from the offset the staff were excellent and welcoming, we were collected from Mosteirô station and given a brief tour of the surrounding areas that we could possibly visit in our stay. Beutiful hotel. Good wine selection. Great setting
Staff was not very helpful. They were very nice but were lacking the ability to provide good solutions to simple challanges. Also, there are no vegetables during breakfest, and overall, the coulinary does not suit the hotel name, which refers to health and wellness.

Top notch staff, amazing restaurant, gorgeous views and hiking trails, their wine
If you are doing improvements cover with a wall, got dirty by sitting in the bar sofas. Isolate the main door of the room on casa senhorial (you can hear the noise of other guests) since the ambience and temperature is world class while being in a classical home.
