The pool was amazing and the rooms spacious enough Very clean and friendly
We did not research the location enough. There was nothing around convenient to get to get food or have a drink other then the hotel
The warm welcome from the moment of our arrival- the pool on the roof- the breakfast- the ability to communicate confidently in English.
The shuttle service to the city centre was far too limited for a hotel located at the outskirts of Hue.
Excellent breakfast. Comfortable modern rooms. With shower and bath en-suite. Excellent and friendly service. Highly professional staff. Decent gym and we all used the massage on site. Pretty good.
It’s 15 minute taxi to city centre and Imperial City. There is a brand new AC shopping centre nearer but still a car is needed. Otherwise there is absolutely nothing around the hotel. Not even a shop. Get the GRAB ride and food hailing app. The rides are cheap. Aside from great breakfast, and 3 restaurants (usually closed), food is limited to only one during the day. Our stay at La Vela Hue was absolutely perfect. The location is very convenient — close to Aeon Mall and just a short ride to the city center. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. One of the most thoughtful touches was the generous takeaway breakfast they prepared for us since we had an early morning flight. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hue!

Hotel itself was nice, but it is far out of town and nothing around to explore on foot. Breakfast delicious, staff very helpful.
Rooftop bar appears to be permanently closed, when we went looking for it, the pool attendant directed us to it but didn't bother telling us that it was not open. We found the hotel and its location a little odd.
Breakfast was excellent and we liked the location being just outside the city centre but close to a large shopping mall .
Quality of service from the front door to the rooftop swimming pool was top class. Room service food tasted lovely- no restaurant available .
The TV had few options to cater to English medium channels- eg. CNN news. The shuttle bus offering is very limited- and while a shuttle bus travels to the city centre at 3.00pm it -for some reason- will not pickup on a return route at that time!! ( or so we understood!)
We were very satisfied with our stay. The rooms were spacious, modern, and felt brand new. Breakfast was above standard for Vietnam, with a great selection. The hotel pool looked beautiful, but unfortunately, we couldn't use it due to the weather. There is a large shopping mall nearby. We took taxis to the city center, which are very cheap in Vietnam, making it an easy and affordable option.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Large sized room with a bath. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Great facial.
It is a little bit out of town, but there are lots of taxis in the area.
