The best hotel in Hiriketia. The vue is amazing and the staff is so nice. Big up to Nimesh who was here for us all along the stay
Just the most perfect place to stay. Beautiful views of the bay from the room and then you’re in the must-visit place. Food and drinks were genuinely exceptional at both restaurants, service was excellent it’s just incredible.
It is a little pricey for Sri Lanka but it does deliver an exceptional standard. Only shame is they don’t reserve a few beds for hotel guests all day

It was exceptional and we would come back again in a heart beat. One of our favourite places of our trip.
Beautiful big clean rooms with great views over the beach.
Downstairs was pretty busy, but a fun vibe and still enjoyed it.
La Playa Beach Club offered the perfect blend of relaxation and beachside fun. Our room was stylish and comfortable, with stunning ocean views. The laid-back vibe and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable, and the proximity to the beach allowed us to soak up the sun and surf with ease. looks like they’ve opened a rooftop bar now too which would be perfect for sundowners
We loved the size of the room, proximity to Hiri and the staff.
There wasn’t any curtains or blinds, and the doors to the sea weren’t sealed so it was very loud.
It was such a beautiful room, so much space and the most gorgeous views. I loved that there were only 3 rooms so it didn’t feel super busy upstairs. The beach club is gorgeous, the staff are amazing and all the food and drinks were delicious and amazing value for money.
We had an amazing stay at La playa. Great location right on the beach. Staff were all so lovely and friendly. Delicious breakfast included daily. Room was great, bed was super comfy! We will definitely be back!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The location is unbeatable as the hotel is located at the waterfront of Sri Lanka's most hype and beautiful bay Hiriketiya. Rooms were huge and very nicely decorated. Food was amazing and music wasn't running too high and late as some critics here might have suggested. Finding free sunbeds might be a problem for s...
There was a sewage smell in the bathroom. I hope the hotel can fix it because it's the only thing we didn't like in La Playa Beach Club.Read more
