This is the best place where we stayed in Colombia. It is pricy but definitely worth it if you are looking for a nice accommodation with a beautiful view, nice facilitaties, a restaurant on the site with good food (best breakfast we have had in colombia) and very friendly staff, all of them. The bed was really comfortable. It has everything you're looking for.
There was some mold on the walls in the shower and it seems the drainage system was not working so well.
We liked the view from our house over the lake
it was raining every single night , it was so loud we couldn't sleep as rain was hitting the roof. In the morning 6am neighbors decided to cut the grass. Again whole house walls are super thin so its like you are sleeping outside
The setting was absolutely beautiful. The accommodation feels very private and the lake views are stunning. Staff couldn't do enough for you.

Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations—the location, service, room, and food were all exceptional. It provided the perfect, tranquil escape surrounded by nature that I had been craving. I will gladly recommend this hotel to all of my loved ones.
Beautiful grounds right on the waterfront! Super peaceful with every amenity you could ask for.
A bit far from town.
Every part of La Pausa is perfect. The cabanas are private, have a beautiful view and are curated so well. You have everything you need for a luxurious, relaxing stay. We loved not ever needing to leave the cabana thanks to the extremely attentive staff and room service. Location is amazing. Tranquility, water activities, room service and personell were very good too
The general cleanliness was good but there were many insects, and I am not talking only about mosquitoes, the main door and also the terrace doors do not close well enough to prevent spiders, centipeeds etc to enter the room.
