This boutique hotel is a small oasis set back in the rolling hills where the pigs wander freely and cows graze outside your window. Those seeking a bit of peace and quiet will find it here. The room was very spacious. We loved the huge bed and the linens were of excellent quality. The restaurant which is part of the hotel was exceptional and to that belongs the service. We loved the landscaping in...
The hotel offers a number of activities. We tried booking several of them but nothing came through. Understandable in off-season, however the communication regarding this was very poor. A, no, we can't arrange it at this time would of been much better than no news whatsoever. We did not let this affect our stay or our admiration for the hotel.Read more
We just loved this hotel. It has the most amazing views, especially from around the pool area. We liked the eclectic mix of furnishings and all the wonderful books laid out everywhere. The staff were all very pleasant. Overall this was one of our very favourite places to drop and relax on our long journey through Spain.

Great location and away from crowded places.

What a beautiful hotel with stunning surroundings. An amazing place to completely switch off and relax. The staff couldn't have been lovelier and really make you feel welcome. The food also incredibly delicious and reasonably priced considering the quality. A real treat and a great find and even more beautiful than the photos! Oh and the sunsets spectacular.
Perhaps a little too quiet and lacked some atmosphere but this cannot be helped. We could still order everything off the menu.
Decoration, and the place around .
The breakfast was very limited in options. We had lunch and my fish was raw inside and burned outside . It was very bad . Don’t recommend the restaurant.
La Dehesa de Don Pedro is one of the most peaceful and beautiful hotels I have stayed in around the world. It was so quiet with just the sounds of the birds. It was the perfect place to rest and feel rejuvenated. The pool area is also lovely with clean, crisp cool water overlooking the mountains. The food in the restaurant at the hotel is delicious. The staff who work at the hotel were so kind, pe...
The only negative is that it would be good if snacks or more food was available during the hours when the restaurant closes after lunch and the dinner time starts at 9pm. It would be ideal to have some snacks to eat throughout the day. The food and wine in the restaurant are wonderful though!Read more
This was the very best rustic hotel in our driving tour round Spain. The location was spectacular amid the mountains of Extremadora, the hotel was relatively new and the care and attention to comfort and style exemplary. The infinity swimming pool overlooking the mountains with pool service was so very peaceful and relaxing. We’ve stayed in many luxury hotels and this was amongst the best. Excelle...

This is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The grounds and flowers are lovely. There are many tranquil spots to sit and admire the views, enjoy a drink and chill. There is an especially enjoyable panorama from the infinity pool. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed at the hotel restaurant. The staff were all lovely.
There is nothing that I didn’t like or thought could be improved.
Beautiful interiors and amazing setting

Utterly beautiful location, surroundings, building and gardens. The rooms are comfortable, immaculate and furnished beautifully. The setting of the pool is wonderful, and the pool itself is a very comfortable salt-water pool.
The food in the restaurant was really disappointing - we were expecting a lot from the talk on the website. The iberico pork was completely overcooked and tough, more like a cheap cut of bacon. The breakfasts were good but unremarkable.
