Pros (+) We had a fantastic experience at La Butte aux Bois. We often stay at luxury hotels and occasionally find them disappointing when they don’t meet expectations, but that was not the case here. Everything was exceptional—wonderful staff, excellent rooms, top-notch facilities, and a great atmosphere.

Pros (+) The atmosphere in the hotel was fantastic. The staff were very welcoming. There was a lovely sense of peace and quiet, and considering it was after a crazy Christmas, we appreciated the break.
Cons (-) The vegetarian options were very disappointing. Having 3 pasta dishes and one gnocchi dish was a little unimaginative. Particularly considering there is a micheline star restaurant on the same premises The pillows were unfortunately massive and so uncomfortable. Neither of us had a good night sleep because of them.
