We specifically wanted peace and quiet which we had. We also looked forward to eating nice food which we found to be exceptionally well made. The evening meal we enjoyed was a highlight of our time there. The breakfast buffet was well worth having.
I can’t think of anything negative points to raise.

L'Aubinière is just the way I would like a hotel to be: located in a quiet village but not far away from many beautiful places to visit, with outstanding kitchen - a really fantastic breakfast and a great dinner we thoroughly enjoyed (and what a fine wine list). It has comfortable rooms, parking spaces, a small but nice outside pool and hosting is really so kind. A very strong recommendation!

Beautiful property in a quaint village. Breakfast was delicious, room was well appointed and comfortable. We had a lovely patio to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine. Spa facilities were clean and welcoming.
The proprietor was not as friendly as most we encountered if France. Would have give 10/10 but did not feel welcome and were very abruptly told there were no reservations at the restaurant that evening. Fine. Enquired about favourite places in the nearby town and were told good luck finding a table. All other staff were lovely.
