Comfortable, clean, central location.
Great location by the train station
The space wasn't well designed because the hotel is old, and although the size of the room was decent, you could not have two pieces of luggage open due to the bad/old design standards.
Dinning and staff were excellent.
The room was so ok. However, having to listen to water flowing through the pipes from upstairs bathroom was not at all comforting. Each time a toilet or shower was used we would have to to endure the noise of water . A hotel of this size you would think would be more sound proofed. Kept me awake each night.
This is an excellent place to stay. 4 Minutes walk from Kyoto Station Central Gate, which got you everywhere you wanted to go. Room was spacious and kept very clean. Staff were excellent and always smiling and helpfull. One young lady even rang a luggage store to ask if they could put an extra hole in my belt. (They Did) Will definitely return if back in Kyoto.

Rooms were small but comfortable. Amazing architecture of main atrium. Buffet breakfast was fabulous. Very close to Kyoto Station

Location was really good. Next to the train station. The room we booked was decent size.
Check in was slow, breakfast was not great and chaotic, room clean only every 2 days, if we want daily had to be told upfront (for the price paid daily cleaning should come standard). Bath tub didn’t work (the plug missing and can see hair in it) . 2 minute walk from Kyoto Station. Very friendly & helpful staff. Very good breakfast buffet with large selection of hot & cold food & drinks. Great location for travelling around city as next to major train & bus station. Also easy walk to temples, restaurants and shops.
Comfortable hotel with convenient location by the train station. The staff was superb - very helpful and pleasant! The room amenities were very nice quality and the room size was large. The kaiseki meal I had in the Japanese restaurant was excellent! The breakfast buffet was very good, with lots of interesting choices.
