Very attentive staff. Spacious and many pools to enjoy.
Food at the restaurants was very mediocre. The all inclusive option was only available at one main restaurant where not only was the food very often on repeat, but of a subpar standard.
Stayed in room 409 from the 21st of March 2025 till the 25th of March 2025. Thank you to Ibrahim (reception), Angela (Manager) and Mussa (F&B) for receiving us, rendering amazing service and ensuring that our stay was a pleasant one. Our room was extremely clean and well-equipped with a direct view of the pool and ocean. The resort is lively (entertainment each day), safe and child-friendly with p...
A few of the waiters were not fluent in English, thus making it difficult to communicate. The bar at the main pool is a bit slow. Beach boys can be a bit much.Read more
They change the buffet daily with specific themes, which provides a lot of variety. The staff is invaluable and doing an excellent job. Ms. Angela put in a lot of effort with us and was terrific.
The beach is not the best in this area of Zanzibar. However, the hotel is serving snacks by the beach, and there are guards all the time.
Victor and Saidi were extremely helpful through our stay they even upgraded our room and went out of their way to meet our expectations! Definitely an asset to the organisation!

We had an exceptional stay at Kiwengwa Beach Resort, where every detail—from the staff to the management—reflected a genuine commitment to guest care. The resort is beautifully maintained, and Angela, the guest relations manager, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She was incredibly attentive, even organizing a birthday celebration for me after my husband had an accident during our ...
Angela is the good soul and fixes everything. Housekeeping team was great and efficient
Beach/Pool attendants need training for guest service - asking for a towel can’t be to much? The beach area needs cleaning , beach chairs look very dirty WIFI was on the slower side Food , the buffet gets after a few days fairly boring Asking for extra payment for cappuccino and other coffees at the breakfast is very silly !
We had an unforgettable 5-night, 6-day stay at Kiwengwa Beach Resort, and we can’t recommend it enough! The location is absolutely stunning, and our upgraded loft room (at a discounted rate) offered the best views in the entire hotel. A special thank you to Mr. Victor for his exceptional assistance throughout our stay, ensuring every detail was perfect. We also want to express our heartfelt gratit...

From the moment we arrived, the warmth and friendliness of the staff made us feel right at home. Mr Said is always ready to welcome guests at the reception with a big smile & seamless check in process. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to one of the spacious family suites—perfect for our needs and just a few steps away from the beautiful, family-friendly swimming pool. The ...
Everything was amazing at the resort, but the rainy season made us spend few hours indoors. April is a rainy season in Zanzibar with cloudy skies.Read more
