Staff were beautiful and respectful. Everything about the resort was amazing. The gym is basic but good to have access to that. I enjoyed the free yoga and show ☺️ My husband and I did the private cooking Class with chef Sutrawan that was a cool experience.
The hospitality and service so amazing. Great people who work there. The food was amazing and the hotel itself looked stunning

Kastara Hotel is amazing! From the warm, welcoming staff to the stunning jungle views, everything about our stay was perfect. The room was elegant and serene, with a private balcony overlooking lush greenery. The infinity pool is a dream, and the spa added to the relaxing vibe. This is the ideal spot for a peaceful getaway.
There’s honestly nothing negative to say — just a small suggestion, to add blackout curtains :)
The hotel is located in an excellent, quiet area. It's possible to walk to the center of Ubud in about 30 minutes. The view from the room's balcony is very beautiful. There's a luxurious stone bathtub on the balcony. The à la carte breakfasts were excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel and may return again.
The views from the Villa with private pool were amazing ! Definitely worth it. We could order breakfast to the room and have it there while staying at the pool. Best plan !
Good value for money, although we got a bit more quality for lower price in other places in Indonesia. It is a bit annoying to have full sunlight in the morning when waking up. The curtains are not blackout.
Location, room facilities, staff, view ( I think the best one I have ever had), quietness, tranquility.
To be honest, the food. Poor, to very poor quality for the place and prices. I don't mind paying the price, as long as I am getting what I am paying for, but in Kastara, and to be honest that is the only thing that drags the place down, is the food. Poor quality, overpriced.
The location, surrounding, nature, jungle you see through the windows when you wake up, good breakfast options, nice pool, bathtub at the balcony.
Road to resort is a bit rough, but it’s not really a resort thing. Except that, everything else was great.

The room was spacious and well appointed with breath taking views. The massive tub in the balcony was great to just relax and soak in the views and the calm. Great size common pool. Staff at Kastara were exceptional.
Food at Balantara restaurant could do with a lot of improvement and there was no 24 hours room service.
