Staff were great, friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, the Arade rooftop bar was fantastic with views over the river and the city.
Lots of seagulls dipping in the outdoor pool. This was probably worse during our stay as the pool was too cold to swim in at that time of year, and more people around the pool may discourage them in summer months.

Excellent stay and very impressed with the hotel in general. Would definitely stay there again. The only ‘negative’ was the evening buffet. Definitely one to avoid. Fortunately, we were staying in a b&b basis so only had to endure it once.
Location is in between the medieval section (very quiet in March) and the beach restaurants (very active)

Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and all of quality. For instance, the orange juice was freshly squeezed. Shower and bed were very good as well.
It seems you are sleeping in the middle of the road. Initially it given to us a bedroom just 2 meters away from the road, on the ground floor. We complained and the staff very nicely moved us to a second room, on the second floor, but also facing the road. The noise was unbearable. If it was not for the late hour we would have moved hotels. Staff are really lovely and are definitely the best part of the hotel. Restaurant was nice at both breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed the spa. The rooftop bar was a nice place to relax. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed having a balcony, although the road was sometimes noisy it wasn't too bad. More of a suggestion/Grumble - The restaurant is not al a carte in the evenings as advertised on the website, it's a buffet. When there is a large group in for dinner it was frustrating to get food at the buffet, the large groups need to be served at a different time or in a different way to avoid the frustration.Read more
Good staff who knew their job

Stylish vibe, friendly staff, a decent-sized room and extreamly comfortable bed. I liked the natural elements integrated into the decor, which was simple but elegant. The balcony was nice and we enjoyed our visit to the spa, which was small but had adequate facilities.
I think guests at the hotel shouldn't pay extra for the spa. Also our room faced the road and we couldn't really leave the balcony door open to get some air without a lot of traffic noise.
