Very charming old property most Ly in good shape. Lovely large updated room. Dining facilities Limited to breakfast and a takeout cafe.
Limited dining on site.
Grand old hotel classic architecture. Get a room with a sun porch.
Lots of activities; had breakfast one morning-it was a little pricey. All staff we interacted with were very friendly & helpful.
Our room & the hotel itself was dusty. Could use a little TLC.
we have been coming to Jekyll for years and was our first time staying at the club hotel. will definitely be back!
More food options - especially in the bar area. dining room was not open in the evenings.
The property is so pristine and the inn itself is a historical landmark, just beautiful
Location was great. Resort was very clean.
Small room with a big price tag.
I enjoyed how friendly everyone was... both staff and other guests.
The Jekyll Island Club is amazing. It's like stepping back in time If you think of the Guided Age of opulence and splendor, then the Jekyll Island Club is a centerpiece. The hotel is gorgeous and the grounds spectacular. My room was in the wing with a glassed in heated porch so I could enjoy views of the grounds. How lucky was.I to enjoy such a beautiful resort. A 10+++ experience.
The weather was dreadful. We were there for 3 nights and it was cold and rainy. This was my second time there in December and in May. Both times cold and rainy. Not the fault of the Jekyll Island Club, but perhaps this is just the weather of coastal Georgia. Next time I would try September.
Checkin staff very rude and argumentative and was told at check in that reservation was cancelled. Upon arriving to room heat was broken and it was freezing outside so we were freezing the whole night. Security guard sent up to fix and he stated he had no clue what to do and we were not offered a different room or anything.
Not having heat entire night and rudeness and inadequacy of knowledge of checkin staff Declan.
The staff was very good in the Pantry and the Bar area. The room was clean and comfortable.
The Wharf could use a menu upgrade. Heavy on the fried food. There are not a lot of dinner options at the resort. We basically ended up eating in the Pantry. We did have breakfast one day in the main dining room and it was underwhelming and overpriced for the food variety provided. $25 would be more appropriate for the food that was available.
