It was quite lovely, in a rural area of wales with abundant things to do and see within a short distance.
On arrival we missed the reception entrance, but in its defence it was poor weather & we walked past it!!
The large garden suite room was comfortable. The dining and breakfast room was lovely with plenty of personal space and lots of character. The meal from the main menu was fantastic. The breakfasts were good too.
Rain dripped from gutter, which was annoying at night as otherwise it was silent and peaceful.
Beautiful setting and fabulous facilities, the family that run the Jabajak are so friendly and welcoming and the food and wine are sensational! Especially try the olive oil ice cream :-p
This is a hidden gem. Very personal and boutique feeling and completely unpretentious, but serving excellent food and wine. It is also family-run and the owners were very friendly and informative and clearly had a genuine passion for the vineyard and the business as a whole.
Grainstore room was a bit hot in the day and cold in the night but that’s probably inevitable given that it is a converted farm building.
The staff were amazing, outstanding hospitality. The food a was great quality fine dining experience. The location was quiet and picturesque Steve and his family were very helpful, the room was far better than the pictures, we had a great relaxing break and didn’t want to leave, it is the best hotel we’ve stayed in for as long as I can remember, we will most definitely be returning.
Nothing
A hidden gem! What a wonderful place; beautuful location overlooking rolling hills and vineyard. Very boutique hotel feel. Dinner and breakfast both delicious. Excellent customer service from everyone we met; Steve and the team definitely know how to look after their guests!
All fantastic!
The welcome. The service. The whole experience.
Couldn't find anything to fault
The location was exceptional, and all staff were so polite and accommodating. The owner also came around and chatwith all the guests.
There was nothing that I could even say was a bad thing with the stay and staff.
The location, restaurant on site, friendly staff, and Nichole who works so hard, there from early morning to late at night. Plus dogs not permitted.
Limited choice of breakfast fruit, cereals and bread.
Nestled in the countryside with a beautiful feeling of getting away from the hustle and bustle. A modern Welsh vineyard making a name for itself in competition with wines from the new world. Steve’s masterclass in wine tasting was a delight before dinner when we made new friends and had great craic. Gorgeous dining room in the old smithy and big comfy seats in the bar. Dinner and dessert from Lewi...
