We absolutely loved our stay at Islanda, a real retreat from life and a nature spotting haven. The rooms, the views, the restaurant, bar & staff were all wonderful. The monitor lizard was a bit of a shock but please do ask the staff and go and have a look. The sunsets.... ahhh I'm still missing them. Some of the bungalows are joined onto neighbours & there doesn't appear to be any soundproofing between bedrooms, also to get to the bathroom at night there are 3 doors & some steps to go up & down, it's wonderful but if you neighbours need all their lights on & don't go through doors quietly this will disturb you, but this quirky layout allows for a glorious outdoor bathroom.Read more
The location beside the beach was good although the beach is not really a swim beach however the swimming pool at the hotel was terrific. We went on a couple of hotel organised excursions which were very good. Overall I very enjoyable stay.
Double edged sword really as I loved the location but then found the resort quite isolated?
Swimming Pool Top . Far from urban agitation . The hotel is obviously not new but seriously far from everywhere, staff top level, added services such as massages. We arrived late due to airplane issues and even if restaurant was close to shut the doors down , the staff decided to keep it opened. The resort is beautiful and the accommodation is super comfortable and spacious and laid out perfectly. The semi outdoor shower is awesome! And the drying room/kitchen area and facilities are wonderful. It is VERY relaxed, laid back and extremely rural. There is very little else to do on the island but it’s nice to explore using the free bicycles provided by the resort. The pool is amazing with st...
The resort is stunning but it’s worthwhile noting how little else there is to do and the local shops are very limited in supplies (and don’t sell alcohol or tobacco products) . The restaurant does sell alcohol but quite expensive.Read more
Beautiful and quiet
The beach
The resort, staff and food were all excptional. A short longboat trip from Thara Park pier and about 20 mins on a tuk tuk to get there which came to 300TB and we were absolutely blown away. So so beautiful and peaceful. We only stayed for 2 nights at the end of our Thailand trip so we were happy to just laze by the pool, if you want peace and quiet this is the place for you.
The bed was very hard and the cocktails were quite weak for the price.
Everything!!! The best resort: the bungalow we had was so beautiful, spacious, and clean. Here, you will see the most breathtaking sunsets. Chilled atmosphere, no loud music, just relaxing vibes. I really liked how resort supports locals, encouraging guests to bike around and visit villages around. Bike and kayaking are present at the resort.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist you with anything you need! Plus, the breakfast is delightful and absolutely delicious 😋. You won’t want to miss it!
Get ready for an adventure! To reach the city centre of Krabi, hop on a tuk-tuk and then take a longtail boat.
