Excellent location in Ribeira and surprisingly very quiet at night. Very comfortable beds and a well equipped room. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. We had an early flight so the takeaway breakfast on the last day was a nice touch too!
Small things: our room on the top floor had a peculiar and unpleasant smell, which we reported. This appeared to have been addressed but it came back on our last day. Slow clearing of tables at breakfast on Tuesday. On one day, we returned to the hotel at 5:00 PM and our room was still being made up.

Excellent location in the heart of Ribeira district with the river, the Luis bridge and many restaurants, cafes, bars and attractions nearby. The hotel itself is located on a taxi only one way road making it reasonably quiet considering it is a very popular and busy area generally. Very friendly staff; great location, beautiful rooms, good breakfast
Staff were outstanding,so pleasant and genuinely helpful. My husband lost his mobile phone and they helped us track it down. Slept like a log, its in the centre but quiet, great bed, very generous breakfast.
