Cons (-) They steal your money ! I booked 5th to 12th and told then on check in I’d like to reduce it by a day and was told they would sort on checkout then on checkout said it was not allowed and charged me for the night I did not need ! Disgusting and I would not recommend due to this

Rarely can you go wrong staying in a Marriott. Staff, breakfast, cleaners, and room were all great. My primary complaint is that the adult pool doesn't open until 9am. I love an early morning lap swim for exercise. I understand why the other pools open late, but it doesn't make sense to not allow an adult to quietly swim laps in the adult-only pool. Pros (+) The facilities at the hotel are excellent. The breakfast is exceptional with a large range to choose from, the fresh fruits were especially good. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the location directly onto the beach was superb. We ventured in to Hua HIn a few times and there are some excellent restaurants to try. Cons (-) The Spa prices are quite expensive compared to the local massage places which are close to the hotel. Not expecting them to be the same as the surroundings etc are superior at the hotel, however the difference in price is too big to justify paying the price.
