It's a charming manor with a lot of original features preserved. We checked in early evening and were welcomed with a zucchini dish to snack on while having our drink at the bar. A nice touch. Staff are super friendly. Breakfast was nice with enough options to choose from on the hot menu.
Breakfast was included and it usually includes coffee. We ordered our cappuccino and at the end were given a bill because only filtered coffee was included and not cappuccino. It was not a big deal for us but I don't think it'll cost them much if they included that too. Just a suggestion.
We love staying at Hout Bay Manor, not only is it walkable to shops and beach, it's set back off the main road so it's peaceful. It's classy and stylish, personal and the food is great. Highly recommended.

A beautiful and boutique hotel. The property was gorgeous. Breakfast served till 2:30 pm. Enabled us to start the day out and about and come back for Brunch - fantastic

Dinner at restaurant was very disappointing. Possibly the worst meal I have had in South Africa.
