Great location if you travel from or to Kapellskär. The hotel was perfect, our room was very nice and comfortable, we had excellent dinner in the evening. The personnel was great and friendly!

The owners are incredibly welcoming, the rooms were comfortable, the restaurant was spectacular and the breakfast selection was impressive. Thoroughly recommend and I really enjoyed my stay.
Lovely hotel, wonderful staff and beautiful location. The flower arrangements in the hotel and all the personal touches were so lovely.
Air conditioning in the room
Floating Sauna was lovely, room spacious with a river view. Food was great.
Dinner quite expensive..
It's always wonderful to get good service in Sweden (as it can't be taken for granted)! The staff a Hotel Furusund was exceptional! They were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be! For that alone, I will give them 5 stars. Beyond that, the hotel is located in one of the most idyllic parts of the Swedish archipelago, it was a famous artis...
I really don't have anything bad to say. But if I would make any suggestions, maybe think of some more substantial pillows (though the bed was really comfortable), and also maybe a minifridge to keep beverages and snacks cool. Last but not least, maybe find somewhere for a small gym for your guests. Just some food for thought!Read more
Perfect.
We wanted to stay all three in the same room, but it was not possible. I made the booking late.
This is the second time we come to the Furusund hotel and we are looking forward to coming back again. We have always done a lot of trips in almost all other European countries and we find that in Sweden, outside Stockholm, finding hotel choices of high standard is sadly very hard, they tend to be extremely overpriced, come linked with "experiences" that are mostly about drinking in well-decorated...
It is certainly expensive. But when consider in its context, it is reasonably priced. (If it was 25% cheaper we would probably go much more often. It is really one of my favorite places out there.)Read more
The location is perfect to enjoy the nature on Furusund Island, meals and breakfast are generous and tatsy. The staff is very kind and attentive of our expectations
Nothing special...
Personnel made us feel like home: very accommodating and gently interested in our experience. We also loved the view to the sea and the beautiful decoration.
Our dog loved the bar area so much that he wouldn't want to leave. However, he did not appreciate that there was no elevator.
