Locatie is bang in the middle of the city ! Very friendly staff Hotelrestaurant is fabulous ! We had the tasting menu! Classic cosy room. Bit dark, but that's because it's in a narrow street. Very good underground parking 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

Fantastic Location right in the heart of Guimaraes old town. Very nice decoration and friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Parking 300m away from the hotel. cars are not allowed to reach the hotel and therefore we had to walk with the luggage. As usualk in these modern hotels, lighting in the bathroom is very insuficient

The staff is outstanding and make you feel very welcome. The rooms are well appointed and extremely clean. Breakfast was fantastic. I could not give a higher recommendation for a hotel stay. One problem - They are rated 4 stars when they should be 5 stars...

The location, the ambience, and the staff make this my favorite hotel in Portugal. This was my second time staying at the HOOL. I will be back.
The one thing that would make my experience here even better is a more comfortable bed.
Couldn't have chosen a better location. Right near the historic center. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff was great. Highly professional. The room was a little smaller than I imagined from the photo's, but very nice and comfy. Also didn't hear any noisy neighbours so that was great. Also the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.
Perhaps the bathroom was a bit small. Little space around the bidet for my legs (I'm 1m86) and the shower was a bit small too, width wise, even though I'm not very wide. But it was very well designed and looked great. So really no complaints.
Very cosy and unique. Fabulous breakfast, rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Room was initially cold, heating system is with AC, it took a while until room was heated up.
