The hotel was not kid friendly at all.
Proximity to MFAH, unique decor, complimentary shuttle, very well accommodating & friendly staff.
Restaurant menu.
The location was excellent—very convenient for getting around the city. It made exploring local attractions, restaurants, and shops easy and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in a central spot.
While the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere and decent amenities, I was disappointed by a few key issues that significantly affected my stay. One of the house rules stated that no outside food or drinks were allowed, which I found to be quite unreasonable — especially as someone with diabetes. I follow a strict diet due to medical needs. Being told I could only purchase food on-site was frustrating ...Read more
I specifically chose Hotel ZaZa Museum District for its proximity to the Huston Fine Art Museum; quiet room with a great west view; comfy bed; delightful patio dining even though it was 95 degrees!
Nothing I can think of.
Location and swanky vibed and the spa
Air conditioning not good enough unable to cool the room which is essential in Houston heat.
Love the view from the balcony rooms. Love the cozy robes and slippers. Love the art and cool vibe of the whole place.
The pool should be open longer (earlier and later) and provide bar service longer.
The hotel overall was nice! Staff was extremely helpful and polite!
The room was not worth the price! Although the bed was comfortable. This was almost a $500 room for 1 night on a Monday. Poorly renovated, ceiling in main entry was stained and had poor workmanship, the robes hanging in the closet were dirty, and only 1 pair of slippers. No soak tub and pool was dirty and full of leaves. This was a date night and just thought for the price of the jr. Suite it woul...Read more
The restaurant--The Monarch--has excellent food. The staff are exceptionally pleasant. The location, if you are visiting the museums, is ideal. The room had a terrific view. The air conditioning can be turned off--an important plus. The bed was comfortable.
The air conditioning is too cold; you can't sit in the lobby or restaurant or sometimes even the patio without a shawl (wool!). The bedside wall lamps didn't work. The shades were a struggle. The room could have used another small table. Not at all sure the bedlinens were clean the first night. The transparent glass sink is awkward and does not have enough room for toiletries.
Location is excellent, the beds were very comfortable and the shower pressure was wonderful.
Double room - the beds were super small. We were very surprised at the size so someone traveling with kids or 4 to a room should be aware of this.
