Loved the place. Felt very luxurious
Loved everything
Well positioned close to the village centre and the railway station. The room was comfortable and well equipped with amenities and a traditional bath as well as a large shower.
The late check-in
Private outdoor covered hot tub was the best! The hotel ambiance is different: dimly lit, understated. The number and quality of robes, towels etc provided in the room was quite impressive. Helpful staff
The styling and facilities in the room were excellent. The private outdoor onsen was delightful, even in the rain.
Restaurant option was limited mid week. Hotel restaurant was closed on night and full on the other, but there are some excellent options just around the corner.
Short distance from train station, Amazing sushi restaurant in the hotel , Close distance to attractions , All amenities listened present

We enjoyed our stay in Zagakukan in a room with private onsen. Our room was stylish and beautiful (maybe a little bit small), it had all necessary facilities, beds were comfortable (with a small gap in between). Late check-out at 1 pm was also nice.
We could not find how to translate tv from Japanese to English. No breakfast, but for us it was fine.
The room is easy and clean! I like the yukata of Zagakukan.
No stairs from the entrance to the reception, not good for travelers with luggages. Everything was very dark and it feels heavy.
The Hotel Zagakukan was an indulgence at the end of a Japanese sight seeing tour. The private open air onsen was amazing and a welcome way to wind down each day. The room was luxurious and well appointed. The staff did all they could to make our stay enjoyable.
Nothing to mention.
The onsen on the roof was great. Located close to train station ~7min. Beds are comfortable.
No ramp for bags at hotel entry. Later check in than other hotels but has later check out. No ice machine, microwave, laundry. Stairs down from onsen are very slippery when wet.
