Had a great stay at Hotel Villa Maria Pia. The hotel is right on the water, so there are beautiful views of the ocean and coastline whilst eating breakfast. Quiet and relaxing area, but also there is a bus stop right outside the hotel which made it very easy to travel to Amalfi or Positano (or around Praiano if you don’t want to climb stairs). Hotel staff is very friendly and the view is amazing. The room was big and traditionally decorate.
Extra payment for car parking (was a bit surprising) Breakfast had large diversity but was average.
The people at the hotel could not be more helpful. We would have been completely lost without the assistance of Nello and his team. Prior to leaving the UK and Spain Nello went out of his way to make sure we were happy with all arrangements. We were picked up from the airport and felt completely pampered. The only slightly negative was the availability of bar snacks. After a long day, we decided on just a snack at the hotel rather than go out. The menu was limited and the chef a bit hmmmmm chef-like. Our room was fantastic with a patio deck overlooking the ocean! It was amazing! The best part was the village below our hotel with many restaurants and bars a beach with boats to go on excursions!!! We truly recommend this hotel in Praiano 30 bye bus All other cities on the Amalfi Coast! We were sad to leave!

The hotel itself was lovely. The grotto next to the hotel, and the access for swimming was super. The view was also spectacular
We didn't like the location of our room. It had no view, and was next to the laundry facilities. Compared to our friends that paid a similar price, they had balconies and amazing views. We were disappointed, especially after seeing their rooms
