The staff especially in the restaurant was wonderful. We had dinner in the restaurant twice and both meals were delicious and the view is beautiful.
We had a luxury sea view suite which was very expensive for what we got. The pool is very ordinary and our suite had two balconies which we couldn’t use as the seating was extremely uncomfortable. Personally we found the location inconvenient as it is quite a distance from the town. The hotel shuttle helped but inconvenient none the less. This boutique hotel is aiming high with the service provided by the staff and the overall feel. Our room was lovely with two balconies, one with sunbeds and an absolutely stunning view. The exhaust fan from the restaurant sounds like a jet engine and was noisy which we felt took away from the experience.Read more

Delightful boutique hotel with a stunning view. Personable and fun staff and delicious breakfasts overlooking the town and sea made this hotel memorable. Although the swimming pool is small, you have access to a pool and gym at Ducale’s sister hotel.
It’s a bit of a trek into town, but you have access to the hotel’s shuttle vehicles (or take your time to explore Taormina by travelling on foot down into the town).

From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating since we arrived early and were able to get us into our suite. The restaurant and view of Mt Etna are amazing. Our room was luxurious and we the views just breathtaking!
