Beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. It felt like home and holiday at the same time - perfect for everyone who is looking for a few days off. Free shuttle to Venice, which is only 10 minutes apart. Very quiet and idyllic, only the birds are singing.
Spa is not included, but also not necessary. The poolside and the surroundings are lovely.
Covenant parking spot with reasonable access to train station away from chaos of Venice.
Hotel is old and not very well maintained. Value for money is not great, the only justifier is that prices are what they are in the area. Breakfast was OK with not much to choose from. And although breakfast was included they charge extra for other options
The wonderful restaurant on the first floor with the impressive wall paintings is no longer available to hotel guests since this year (only for private events). Dinner is now served in the simple breakfast room, which unfortunately does not resemble the previous flair anymore (quality also does not compare to the last years). The art in the building is incredible and the grounds are nice, rooms are clean. The woman running the restaurant was very sweet and helpful but the rest of the staff weren’t great. She mentioned they were new so maybe some teething problems.
I had a bad check-in experience with the staff who were rude and unhelpful. The hotel has a nice courtyard with tables but you can’t eat dinner out there, which is a shame. The restaurant was drab and awkward. Not much atmosphere.
Picturesque
From the initial booking I requested a room that had two queen sized beds because there would be a roommate. What I received was two single beds the size of what kids sleep in separated in a room that was extremely cramped for two adults. Unfortunately, There was no sense of urgency to rectify this.
Very pleasant stay. The staff is very helpful, the breakfast is good. There is a free shuttle to Venice (be careful to book 2 days before because it is fully booked quite fast). I can only recommend !

The landscape and surroundings. Retreat like property. Perfect if you are looking to enjoy a tranquil dinner with view. Amazing breakfast with nature. Estate like property.
Location in spring is beautiful, peaceful, nature, very nice
amazing wheater, war, sunny, Easter weekend......was not possible to have breakfeast in terrace (not allowed....!); service people are neither well trained nor attentive, just doing their job. One and only positive surprise: Sra Bruna, nice, friendly.
