Pros (+) I loved how close it was to everything. The vibe is amazing and the pool was really cool. Loved that they had live music most nights.
Cons (-) I didn’t like that they let too many people park on the 4th of July and I ended up having to park off site and pay $200 for one night to park. That really sucked.

Pros (+) Very clean, staff was nice
Cons (-) Check in process, check in was at 4 I requested early check in for 3, I understand that it was based on availability, so that’s not the issue. I arrived at 3:15 and the room was not ready, and at 4:10 the room was finally ready.

Pros (+) Really nice, modern hotel with great staff & amenities. Close to Rainey Street, which has a nice vibe to it in an evening.
Cons (-) The bar could stay open later for residents, shut at 11pm on the night of my stay.

Pros (+) The entrance lobby has a cool vibe but that’s pretty much it
Cons (-) It is so noisy and loud into the early hours you feel there is a nightclub in your room despite giving me one of the “quiet” rooms. The staff while polite are pretty clueless and inexperienced and it’s a “no” place. Not much can happen for you if it isn’t obvious.

Pros (+) It's been 2 weeks, and our luggage is still packed. Apparently we haven't dealt with the reality of not still being there lol. Considering the fact that we live in Houston, and its been at least 25yrs since I partied on 6th Street, I hadn't considered a "Love Anniversary" vacation in Austin as a grown person. However, my stay at Hotel Van Zandt (Downtown Austin) let me know just how jaded I was!! ...
Cons (-) We didn't like leaving.
