Space and privacy
Lack of choose in restaurants and bars on such a large property
First class breakfast by one of their so nice swiming pools . After many times visiting Bali and Lombok , this is absolutely our favorite place . Food is excellent . Spa is gorgeous . The large private beach is great . The manager and staff are perfect , so efficient and kind .
This was a magical experience. A trip back in time set amongst antiquities from the Indonesian and Javanese times gone by. The staff were kind, giving, attentive and the GM Mr Faisal spent time sharing the story of Tugu, its history, the family and the construction. He was wonderful and very good at the helm of his staff of 105.

Our stay at Tugu was outstanding. The hotel has a very charming look and combines luxury with tradition super well. The service / staff could read your wishes without asking :D, they have been super helpful with all our wishes and they exceeded any expectations we had. Charming rooms, beautiful grounds with lots of interesting art, excellent food - particularly the indonesian dishes but great burgers as well. Wonderful service - they really made us feel pampered. Nice beach. This is a place to come when you just need to get away from it all and relax.
It may be a bit remote from the action for some people. You can do day trips and the wonderful Lombok Wildlife Park is just 20 minutes away but be aware, there isn't anything else within walking distance.
old world generous and delightful- very private and quiet- canles lit in doorway with flower pathway was a gift along with crocodile folded towels and swans on bed with flower surrounds
Beautiful rooms furnished with antique Indonesian art and furniture right on the beach
If you are a light sleeper you need ear plugs due to the call for prayers for sunrise!
