We had a great stay at Shibari and enjoyed all the amenities and the wonderful cenote. We also tried the spa, which was a great experience. The hotel is spectacular, but its cuisine leaves something to be desired, with dishes costing more than Michelin-starred restaurants in Tulum. The hotel's cuisine does not match its infrastructure. The breakfast included in the daily rate has limitations, and also leaves something to be desired compared to hotels of equivalent quality.
One of the best experiences I ever had the chance to live. A fantastic hotel in an absolutely wonderful location. Very friendly staff great cenote experience and fantastic restaurant. Thank you for everything.
The setting of the pool around the Cenote is lovely. The bed was comfortable and the shower great. The staff tried hard but they did not achieve success. The margaritas at the reception bar were good.
We had our laundry done and it all came back smelling of smoke and grey. There was inane music pumped throughout the property which was too loud and despite numerous requests to,at least , turn it off right outside our room …. Nothing was done!! The breakfast service was erratic.

The walls of our private jacuzzi needed to be thoroughly scrubbed clean You could not lie in bed with the doors open as loud “zen” music so no afternoon nap. Some nights the music was louder and started again early in the morning

Unbelievable hotel, amazing staff and you really couldn’t ask for much more. Food and drinks 10/10. The hotel will also look after you very well in terms of bookings transfers, events and providing the right information on anything you may need during your stay. Poncho was great.

the property was exceptionally beautiful and in such a great location. we were walking distance from all the best beach clubs and restaurants. the staff was AMAZING, they were all so kind and attentive. the room was very nice, spacious and clean!

Floors could be cleaned better (dust). Depilatory cream residue found in the shower gel (could have been dangerous if we hadn’t noticed it due to the smell). Dirty jacuzzi, not cleaned regularly. $1,000 requested instead of the $600 stated at the time of booking on Booking. Long and confusing check-in. Music too loud at the cenote in the afternoon.
