The aesthetics were beautiful, excellent location and lovely staff and facilities.
Only issue was the jacuzzi that was part of our room did not heat up. Otherwise loved the property.
Really great hotel right in the heart of Tulum's hotel zone so you have the beach, bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Additionally, you have a very quite and peaceful luxe escape if you want to avoid the crowds. The hotel has everything you could possibly need; its own private cenote, pool, bar, restaurant, spa, jacuzzi and yoga/wellness facilities.
AmZing cenote; staff and room. Great service around the pool and food was incredible
Nothing
Big rooms, perfectly orientated to give you privacy, specially if you take the inside ones ( if you take the ones that are orientated to the general path careful of being naked or doing stuff outside the room as you will be seen. Cenote and atmosphere are great. Staff is really helpful and kind
Gym could have couple of spinning bikes ( no their fault just a recommendation) Menu in the restaurant is not really vegetarian friendly ( has just a couple of plates) this is more correlated to Mexican gastronomy?
Everything. Having a cenote as a pool is a unique experience, the staff were all so helpful and friendly, our own jacuzzi was a personal highlight. The butler team went above expectations
The shower extractor fan fell on my boyfriend’s head whilst he was showering. We had an issue with bugs one evening however the butler team did arrange a deep clean of the room which resolved the problem
The Cenote is beautiful, the room is spacious and has everything you need The staff are very helpful and friendly The hotel ja in a good area near beach clubs and restaurants
The gym could be better
We had a great stay at Shibari and enjoyed all the amenities and the wonderful cenote. We also tried the spa, which was a great experience. The hotel is not on the beach but it is a two-minute walk from some very nice beach clubs. Definitely also recommend spending time by the cenote. There is a live dj on some days and that was also a great addition (not too loud). All the staff were lovely but I...Read more
The hotel is spectacular, but its cuisine leaves something to be desired, with dishes costing more than Michelin-starred restaurants in Tulum. The hotel's cuisine does not match its infrastructure. The breakfast included in the daily rate has limitations, and also leaves something to be desired compared to hotels of equivalent quality.
One of the best experiences I ever had the chance to live. A fantastic hotel in an absolutely wonderful location. Very friendly staff great cenote experience and fantastic restaurant. Thank you for everything.
