Cons (-) The room had broken glass not cleaned up beside the bed which I trod on. Then picked up. Several small shards which I showed reception in the morning but received no proper apology. I should have formally complained. And the room was hot. No a/c they provided a mobile unit but needed to exhaust with the window open so very noisy.

Pros (+) Beautiful hotel on a beautiful part of the city.
Cons (-) We paid a lot if money for a very small room, airco could not make the room cold and it was februari 😕. Out of the window we looked at a buch of garbage from the place next to the hotel. Think a restaurant or something. I am always honest and like to pay more for better hotels but this was not a nice stay for us. The staff was great and very friendly.

Pros (+) Not much, was like a standard 4* Hotel, basics were fulfilled
Cons (-) Room was different then the picture on booking.com, Room was cold, Staff was not helpful getting food from restaurant, staff forget to bring a heater, didn't have a concierge for getting baggage out and in the car, not a 5* hotel in international standard

Pros (+) There was a miscommunication(twice) with the staff. The Duty Manager came and rectified the situation. Because the hotel was able to accept responsibility and make it right, I will only stay at this hotel when in Bern.

Cons (-) For what we paid we did not get value in return. The junior suite is small, with no separation from the king bed with the rest of the room, the room is too small for 4 people. No place for the bags. Overall the hotel heating had issues and it was very cold. The parking is so expensive at 50 Francs. The staff do not do anytning about complaints.
