The location - the balcony with an amazing view. The staff were so friendly. Breakfast was so nice.
The bathroom and room was incredibly outdated. In my opinion, this hotel was great but could be phenomenal with some slight upgrades to the rooms.
Comfortable and clean room. Great view from the balcony and terrace. Perfect location to walk to historic center. The private shortcut access to the beach down below is also useful.
More variety at breakfast will be desirable.
Breakfast was plentiful and had lots of variety. View is amazing. Drink upon arrival sitting outside with the amazing view helped to calm our nerves after a long drive. Staff are very helpful and full of information. Parking a dream right outside the hotel in the street.
Cannot fault this hotel. Will definitely stay again.

This is a wonderful hotel for visiting Tropea. The staff were delightful and the room provided amazing views of the sea and the volcanic island Stromboli. The hotel in easy walking distance to the historic center. Breakfast was delicious and served inside or outside with extraordinary views. Parking on the street near the front door was free and easy during our visit in April.
Tropea sits on a steep hill above the beach, and many steps down and up are inevitable for everyone staying in any hotel in Tropea. If you are primarily interested in the beach, you may want to consider a hotel or resort on the outskirts of the city.

This is not a 4-star hotel. We where not allowed to eat our breakfast on the terrace next to the breakfast room.
It was close to town and to the beach. The staff was amazing and very helpful

The views were fantastic. It overlooked the ocean. The staff were very courteous as well. The location was also pretty good in that inside a 7 minute walk you could be into the heart of the town.
The rooms were tiny. The bedroom and bathroom were both small. Though the views were terrific, getting to the beach would require you to be a mountain climber as there is a ton of stairs to go down and worse to get back up. We chose to take the car instead. There is also no pool to speak of. The water hole is just that and not heated ever.
