Fabulous location! Close to everything but away from the crowds. Lovely, updated hotel. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio.
The quadruple room was a little small for us, but that was no fault of the hotel. Next time, I would book two rooms. It would be fine for a family with young children.

Lovely big family room with big windows. Traditional authentic style & decor with high ceilings. Very comfy beds. Quiet at night, even though quite central.
Lovely garden area, but would have been nice if there was a seating area to enjoy it.
The front desk and dining room staff were very welcoming, friendly and highly efficient. Terrific service from both. The Filipino staff member and the lady from Slovenia were very helpful. I suggest provi doing complimentary bottles of water each day. The provision of just one bottle for the duration of our stay and considering the high cost of the room is really not adequate.Read more

They did a wonderful job renovating the rooms. I liked the black and white photos of statues and famous buildings in the room and common areas. The decor is very chic and the bed is comfortable. Nice and quiet room for a good night’s sleep. Receptionist to the waitress at breakfast and even the maids are all super friendly. Makes for a very welcoming feeling. The hotel was clean and airy. It had a sense of history about it and was well located to walk to the main attractions in Florence. The staff were helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast room was calm, attractively set and the food was varied and of a good standard. The room was comfortable and the shower worked well. We couldn’t really fault our stay here. Thank you.
