Clean, spacious room(with spacious bathroom), wonderful breakfast, super kind and friendly staff, gorgeous view. Had a very pleasant stay in Hotel Okura.
Accessibility is somewhat limited due to the distance from the Sannomiya station, making it a bit inconvenient to visit nearby convenience stores or restaurants. However, the hotel shuttle runs every 20 minutes, so it’s manageable. Aside from that, everything else was very satisfying. I'll certainly visit again.
Cleaning status, good service
The staff were courteous and cooperative throughout my stay. However, the shuttle service frequently did not adhere to the published schedule. This inconsistency led to some inconvenience in planning activities. It was also concerning that the staff appeared unaware of these scheduling issues. Improved coordination and accurate shuttle timetables would enhance the overall guest experience.
Room view good. Friendly staff
No USB charging points. No minibar . No wine glass in the room. Shower inside the bathtub. The biggest disapointment was the Teppanyaki dinner on 35 floor. Expensive , no taste . Chef making food for two sets of guests at the same time , not concentrating on us as guests
The shuttle bus was highly convenient The hotel is most definitely on the luxe side It's got a full mini city inside ; bakery cafe, restaurants (Chinese, traditional japanese), but also shopping stores and a family mart. The breakfast buffet was incredible.
I don't always like super high building and this one was high. Also I disliked L'occitane products in the bathroom. They smelled of vanilla, I just hate the brand and vanilla perfumed products. I much prefer scent free Japanese products.
The hotel is really old. It was probably great when opened in 1989, bit now it is really old. It has never been refurbished fir 40 years... which is very strange for what is supposed to be a luxurious hotel
Great high flor spacious rooms
I paid alot more than my friends for the same room type and floor.
Superb Teppanyaki Dining experience on the top-floor restaurant. Amazing views over the harbour form both the room and the restaurant. The staff is super friendly and helpful We loved the beautiful entrance hall, the 1960's interior design with original furniture.
Few of the staff members spoke english makng the check in and luggage handling process bumpy.
Shuttle, attention to detail, buffet breakfast.
Charge for Gym and gym was closed before 10am.
Perfect Seaview. Fantastic room size and facility. Good location to nearby shopping and eating areas.
Parking is a bit expensive.
It’s got that old school grandeur about it. Lovely large lobby and spacious areas. Rooms felt large too (as compared to others in Japan) Obviously an older hotel but well maintained.
