The check in staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Our room was lovely, clean, well appointed and very comfortable. We had the Japanese breakfast which was delicious and the staff there were most attentive and respectful. nothing as far as the hotel goes. It is a great place to stay Only thing one has to know is that if you are coming or leaving from the train station, you would need to take a cab to or a tram for 8 stops. The station is not within walking distance.Read more
Convenient location near shopping and restaurants, near Kumamoto-jo. Room had a beautiful view of Kumamoto castle!

The concierge was amazing, thank you to Yamada, she was the best help with our tours or dinners our transport. They made reservations for us everywhere. Top notch staff. !!
This hotel is placed very close to the Shimotori shopping arcade, making it a very nice central location for shopping at the end of every day. Additionally, the Kumamoto Castle is not too far either. Room was clean, and I had a good rest.

The hotel is located right nearby the Shimotori Shopping Arcade, making shopping and eating a no worry moment. The hotel is also within viewing distance to Kumamoto Castle though to go there, the entrance is on the opposite side of the castle park. The staff were friendly and nice. The location was good. A little way from the station but the A tram was easy to use and convenient. Right next to the Castle and near a lot of dining options.
The rooms were very dated. Quite small and not very well laid out. We stayed for four nights so it made the stat a little uncomfortable. No storage so trying to squeeze around open suitcases.
