Wet well kept property
15 minute walk uphill but they offered to pick us up at the port if we needed it
Everything about the property was great - the location, the facilities, the food and most especially the personal attention given to us by the staff. The entire hotel has been carefully designed and finished retaining charm and authenticity. Amazing views, very comfortable room, great pool and the food was heavenly! had good mozzie zappers in the room too.

The entire experience is incredible. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the grounds are stunning, the food is out of this world. And the staff is incredibly attentive. Be sure to eat dinner here!
Absolutely nothing! Perfection.
Was fabulous in every way-location to Main Street and beach, building itself was like a colourful painting with tiles and pool. Best of all was the food-amazing chef, we ate in every night! Highlight was the mango and ricotta granita, they make it all themselves.

The breakfast was amazing (particularly the granitas and the fresh fruit from the garden) and the highlight of our stay (and the best breakfast we had in the Eolian Islands). A lot of homemade products (even the croissants) and plenty of options. Meals took place on a gorgeous terrace with a view. We had dinner there one night and the food (the pasta with prawns - especially) was again delicious. ...
A minor point but the shower head could be more modern however this didn't impact our stay. Also, if you are seeking an early night (which we weren't) I would suggest a room away from the terrace / restaurant as it is open till late so you can hear the noise from the room.Read more
Vibrant and beautiful property, great location. The restaurant and pool were very nice and the rooms were comfortable and eclectic island style. The staff was overly welcoming and available, with great communication. Don’t miss the breakfast! It was the best we had on the island. Also, Hotel is also a very short walk to the main strip where you can find many shops and things to do.
Hammock and area outside of the room with chairs and table. The pool was relaxing. Friendly staff.Breakfast was nice with the option to order omelettes and meats. The location was good and the view was great, but it is a bit of a walk uphill.
No shelf to put soap in the shower.

Hotel Mamma Santina is a beautiful stay not to be missed when you visit the Aeolian Islands. It was in my top 3 stays during my 3 week Sicilian holiday.
