Nice building but the inside did not match the interior
Supposed to be dog friendly but really dogs aren’t really allowed anywhere but the hallway and the rooms There was an extra charge for dogs and to use the sauna which was ridiculous
This Hotel is perfectly placed for a stop over on a drive through France on the Spain Border to continue the following day to the Costa Brava . We have been doing this trip twice yearly with our 2 dogs for the last 3 years

The beds and linen were soooooo comfy. The hotel is very stylish The staff were really friendly and helpful
The room was generally clean, but the bathroom toilet had not been flushed and the soap bar was opened with the wrapper left out. Didn’t really put me off the general excellent cleanliness otherwise. The only other thing that didn’t help was the neighbouring room was a family with multiple rooms, so there was a fair amount of door knocking and corridor conversations😔
Rooms and bed were comfortable and spacious. Free on-site parking. Excellent breakfast. Kettle in the room was a bonus.
After travelling all day, we arrived looking forward to a restful evening and a hot shower. Unfortunately there was no hot water in our room. We were offered another room with the same result. The management were sympathetic but could offer no solution. The following morning we had our shower. It would appear the hotel had run out of hot water by 7pm. Totally unacceptable for a hotel. Appearance of Hotel, cleanliness, friendliness of staff, choice and quality of food.

Beautiful location and a fantastic property. Exceptionally friendly staff made us and our two dogs very welcome. They even provided us with a separate small dining area for us and our two dogs.
Minor criticism but the property had a Porsche Destination charger for Electric charging (type 2 connector) but it seems that the staff had managed to arrange for their cars to always be on charge.
Dog friendly , very tolerant & understanding of travellers with their dogs. Clean & atmospheric old building. Restaurant , food was. a sic but good value. Breakfast was excellent; something for all tastes.
Dog section in garden could be larger.

Room was a bit tired, no pods for coffee but provided when asked
The staff were outstanding. They could not have been more welcoming, or more helpful. As a dog owner, the addition of a mini-restaurant to allow dog-owners to eat with their dogs nearby, was a real winner. Quirky decor sets it apart from most modern-style hotels.
The radiator in our room was difficult to access and was turned on . No lifts makes access to rooms harder; especially for us old folk.
