Pros (+) The amenities in the bathroom were lovely but I’d rather have comp coffee
Cons (-) We were very surprised there wasn’t a complementary water, coffee and tea station at reception.

Pros (+) The room was clean and very confortable and the location excellent . The staff were very friendly and attentive. My only negative would be the lighting in our room was a bit dark for getting ready etc .

Pros (+) A lot nicer inside than it appears from the outside. Free parking. Over the road from a beach but it was way too cold for the beach when we were there. We walked into the main city/Historic area which took about half an hour. There is a bar/restaurant on site but we didn't go there - we went to one about 7 minutes walk away. The room was cosy & warm and very quiet overnight. No tea making faciliti...
Cons (-) When we arrived we were a bit worried as the neighbourhood is run down with derelict buildings - and a very busy road - but it's a lot nicer once you're inside. And our room was quiet. We were facing out onto a courtyard so other units could look in if curtains open. This is more a motel than a hotel which is ok but not what we expected.

Pros (+) The location/proximity was excellent for exploring the city of Galveston as well as boarding a leisure travel aboard Royal Cruise Liner. Lastly, I really appreciated the comfort and relaxing atmosphere of Hotel Lucine .
