Excellent Location and Hotel. The hotel is just 15-20 walk from the main centre where all the action happens. Its tucked away nicely just off the main roads and opposite the Sofitel Hotel. The hotel itself was very clean and has the heritage vibe. Large spaces and guest area for guests to relax. Great location and the staff there were phenomenal. A special thank you to Diogo Laranjo who really made an extra effort to make us feel comfortable. We needed to change room and the hotel were happy to help. This really saved our holiday.
Though the breakfast is good, it is all the same every morning. It gets a bit boring after a week of the same breakfast. We had room service one day (sandwiches and melon/ham), which was not good. For us, the pillows were too soft, but the hotel provided us with more.
