Dinner. They were trying too hard. I appreciate fine food--especially Austrian/Tyrolean cuisine. But the 5 course dinners was trop cuisiné. " Frothy"
Everything The chalet was perfect for a family, it has everything you need. It was warm, comfortable and cosy. I liked the coffee machine and the Marshall Action III Bluetooth home speaker. The restaurant was authentic and the food was delicious and perfect. We liked that there were a set menu for dinner and not a buffet. Very convenient shuttle service to the cable car gondola.
The chalet has only one bathroom and one toilet which is a bit tight for 6 people
It was just perfect, the room was huge and bath was well maintained a clean (!) , dinner and breakfast was really good (maybe one of the best i had).
The location was challenging, since the it is positioned on high slope 10 minutes walking from the bus station of scheffau.
This is an extremely comfortable, beautiful, family-run hotel with all of the best services of a large first class hotel, but it feels like being hosted by close friends. We stayed four nights and enjoyed every day and night. Friendly front desk staff + I saw that some of the superior chalets were recently updated/remodeled
I have never left a bad review ANYWHERE but I am surprised this place has this high of a rating. Value for money was very poor. Old, dusty, inflexible... I booked this for a birthday trip and have to say that the overall experience was disappointing and I left feeling like I overpaid majorly. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend getting the dinner. Great value with 4 courses that were excellent every night! The recommended wine pairings were excellent as well and we were able to try Austrian varietals.

Great stay in a superior suite :) 5* breakfast with everything for people with allergies-Dinners were succulent and all adapted for my intolerances 2nd stay there and it won't be the last one for sure
