Pros (+) Beautiful simple chic hotel nestling in the wilderness and small village. Perfect location to see the ice lagoon and glaciers on south coast in a day. Lovely staff, new smart simple decor and rooms. Beds very comfortable. Good value and well presented Food. Breakfast provided every choice.
Cons (-) Nothing really. Rooms slightly compact and thicker curtains could have helped with short nights.

Pros (+) Best hotel in our 11 days trip. Beautiful rooms (we got a free upgrade) and excellent breakfast. During breakfast 1970’s soundtrack in the dining area made the experience fantastic . Very helpful people at the reception

Pros (+) Fantastic stay in this lovely Hotel with super friendly staff. Was my big birthday & and our room was upgraded plus there was a treat waiting for us there. Super Breakfast & Dinner plus staff sang me Happy Birthday with candle & small cake. Really made my day & can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Close to beautiful Stjórnarfoss and Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon.
