Great location, restaurant food good, cottage facilities good.
Staff not very friendly. Very chaotic when organising activities. We had them planned in advance with the hotel, then upon arrival they gave us a new itinerary, then when we turned up on time to the new itinerary they told us we were wrong (until we showed them their own paperwork). An expensive week to feel let down.
Lovely, restful stay. Good facilities and friendly staff. We stayed in a cottage and it was perfect for our break.
Beds in the cottage were far too soft for me and affected my quality of sleep. Mattresses could do with an update in my personal opinion. Seemed really old!
Wonderful Aurora Suite. Own sauna on first level and jacuzzi outside the room on the (not heated) terrace. View down the hill/ ski slope was stunning. Went there at the end of November and had plenty of snow, albeit not as much as during the peak winter season. The room was spacious, modern and the terrace with the jacuzzi had a stunning view. This was the main aim of the trip. The log cabin was exceptional and very well equipped, warm, comfortable and a pleasant experience. The 'short' walk to the main hotel for breakfast etc on occasions did not feel that short! The breakfast buffet was good and covered all dietary requirements The Husky and Reindeer trips were exactly as expected and worth every penny The bus to the Market works well...
The buffet food for dinner provided a reasonable choice, however the a la carte was fairly limited. More information needs to be provided about the food available and how those who are no 'all inclusive' are charged.
