Pros (+) The room was querky and provided everything we needed including, iron, hairdryer toiletries etc. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the hotel felt airy and clean.
Cons (-) The room overlooked the road and we were woken early by the bin men. I think breakfast could have been better and the extra parking charge if staying at the hotel should have been included in the price stated

Pros (+) Everything! This is one of the best UK hotels we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot! From the moment we booked to the minute we left the staff were fantastic. Professional, friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is perfectly situated and the parking was great. The attention to detail in the hotel was superb. The ambience, the gardens, and the food were all fabulou...
Cons (-) If we have to be ultra ultra picky. It would have been nice to have more room in the bathroom to put your belongings and towels. The soaps on the sink shelf take up so much room. The pillows had little substance and weren't great. As we say, that's being ultra ultra picky.

Allan, May 2025
Pros (+) The location and staff were excellent
Cons (-) I was charged an extra £10 per night for my wife to stay in the same bedroom? Even though it was booked for our anniversary?? The staff claimed it was only booked for 1 person even though it was booked via booking.com. And for the price I paid I would say that was more than adequate to cover the room Either the hotel or booking com needs to address this😬
