Pros (+) Beautiful place, nicely decorated with style, excellent breakfast and really nice host. Overall an excellent value for the money. In the star system, this is an accurate solid 3 stars. The parking, although small, is a real plus for this location.
Cons (-) Nothing beyond that the cheapest option doesn't have a double but rather a 1.5 bed. It should somehow be clarified on booking.

Pros (+) A lovely, six-bedroom hotel with a rich history. Right around the corner from the Philosopher's Walk and with a much better array of restaurant options than downtown. Felt much more like historic Heidelberg and very easy to walk to the castle, etc. Highly recommend.
