Pros (+) A superb hotel: wonderful location in the centre of Ghent overlooking the river. We had a brilliant room with a balcony and view of the river and across the roofs of the city. The staff could not have been more willing - they opened the swimming pool for us despite the surrounding decking being in the process of renewal. Excellent breakfast with plenty to choose from.

Cons (-) Beware , Google maps and Waze will not take you there . Due to multiple pedestrian zones , alll directions make you try and park your car and walk 200 meters or more to the hotel . Even hotel staff and locals know it is very hard to find ….

Pros (+) The room was a loft room with a view of the canals and the three towers of Ghent. There was direct lift access to the room. We found the breakfast (taken once on Sunday) generous and of good quality.
Cons (-) We found the bed (I believe it was a queen) a bit small.

Pros (+) Great location, super design and lovely breakfast. We loved the place and Gent. The room was so spacious with very high ceilings. It overlooked the canal. The staff was very friendly.

Pros (+) The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful thank you. The room was beautiful, clean and the bed was really comfortable. The location was perfect. Pool wasn't open yet so can't comment on that but did look lovely.
Cons (-) Not the hotels fault, but they were relaying a road/pavement outside our room at 6am in the morning so that got us up super early. We also couldn't get the A/C to work but again probably our fault.
