The staff was very welcoming and helpful to get us out on a hike. Spa facilities are very nice and also the upstairs seating area is classy.
The restaurant area is a bit outdated tirol style but in winter I guess this makes more sense then on a bright sunny day, and this is of course just my personal taste.
This is a very special and beautiful hotel. The staff went above and beyond, and the food was amazing.

A very warm and comfortable hotel with a beautiful interior, sauna, swimming pools, everything was on the point and clean. Wonderful and friendly staff! We like coming back to the Gridlon Hotel. Wonderful service, great pool spa area, comfortable beds, awesome location.
Unfortunately it is not a non smoker hotel. The air is so wonderful at this location, however they have no AC, so you need to leave the windows open to adjust the beautiful sunny rooms. That is great until someone around your room decides to smoke and the entire room smells like an ash tray.
