Pros (+) We loved the view with big windows and the staff were very helpful. It was great to have a cold filtered drinking water dispenser in the hall of every floor! Perfect location for exploring Hobart.

Pros (+) Bed was comfortable. Staff were really helpful. View was great. I had the chicken with risotto and it’s the best chicken I have ever tasted!
Cons (-) The restaurant - cafeteria style, no table linen. Very basic. Maybe ok for breakfast but not dinner in a high end hotel. It didn’t set a nice tone for the evening. We had a king harbour view. The room was dated. A scratch on woodwork was covered with a marker pen. It looked grubby. Pros (+) Lovely efficient staff. Very helpful housekeeping staff. Recently renovated hotel so everything looked shiny and new. We had a harbour view room that was well fitted out and had heaps of space. Great location near the wharf and restaurants. Taxi rank and skybus stop directly outside.
Cons (-) The room was very functional but lacked the 'it' factor I expected of a hotel of this quality. It was very bland with barely any colour, artwork or decor and didn't feel 'lush' or special. We were high up, but there was still a lot of traffic noise from the main road below. It quietened later at night, so the noise did not affect sleep. Windows are not double glazed
