Pros (+) Great location right in the harbour watching boats/ ships coming and going Rooms were very clean
Cons (-) I would have like a bar area it’s a reasonably large reception area so they have space. The front balconies have open slats above, presumably for sun protection but as it rains quite often they just act as drip trays prolonging the rain shower well after they have passed.

Cons (-) Hard to find on a busy street with no parking. There is a parking lot you can book ahead, it is a couple of blocks away. We arrived at night, in the day would be easier

As the title says, everything is great at this hotel. I got a small room that was equipped with everything. The breakfast is amazing one of the best in São Miguel. It's definitely a good place to stay if you want to be near the center

Pros (+) Wonderful breakfasts, big room (like 1 bedroom apartment), helpful staff, great location. In the winter season (low for tourism) we could easily to find an available spot for parking near the hotel along the shore (free from 7pm until 8am)
Cons (-) At the backside of the hotel there are abandoned buildings or ruins and this is what we saw from our room but we almost didn`t spend time in the hotel so it didn`t bother us that much. Only at night, it was slightly uncomfortable.

Pros (+) The staff were particularly helpful, the breakfast was exceptional, room clean and location perfect. Pity there was no bar or restaurant for evening meal, but plenty of opportunities close by.

Pros (+) Breakfast was really good and the girl at the reception went the extra mile for us. The room was dry and warm which is nice since December is cold and humid
