Pros (+) Breakfast was superb and enjoyable on the deck. The small sitting room for wine and canapés each evening was a delight. The location was perfect for me, close to friends and all that I needed to do in Auckland .
Cons (-) There was not always a staff member there, for example when I was checking out and needed to leave my bag in reception for a few hours before my flight

Pros (+) Eric and the rest of the staff at the Fitzroy were exceptional. They were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The rooms were exceptionally well appointed. Pros (+) Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast. Complimentary happy hour canapés and wine. Quiet neighbourhood with a short walk to restaurants and shops and less than half hour walk to the wharf.
