Nice property, staff from the restaurants and reception very good, SPA terrible, we have booked the 10 days of massage and they only Offer 2 days .. lots of excuses.. not nice and arrogant. The beach they could open before 9:00 AM . Because at 8:00 there are already guests on the beach but no towels or any service , that should be a must on a supposed 5 star hotel .

Didnt like the menu at the restaurant, could be much better. The menu at Fasano was very good. The food at the pool was very bad too. We tried it two days and didnt like it.
The location of this hotel is probably one of the most beautiful locations that I have ever stayed at; and once upgraded, at a charge, the view from our room was lovely. The staff were attentive but didn't seem to appreciate that 'return' customers should be looked after very well. Last year our room was exceptional, but this year we were put into a room overlooking 3 generators with lorry deliveries and terrible noise - not what I expect from a 5 star hotel. When we spoke to reception, we had to pay to upgrade. We only ate and drank at the hotel but I spent two days in bed with food poisoning which made my visit a bit of a waste of money! Food was good but not Excellent
the breakfast was good
the room had a leak In the bathroom and it took 4 hr to adjust, and in the second night the air conditioning stopped working and we called 3 times the reception to come repair but never came, we slept we the rooms super humid. tried to explain at the reception at check out, and did not do nothing about it. really unsatisfied

Questionable ethics on the property, with several “gorjeta espontânea” (spontaneous tips) added to several bills (including minibar!!) without our knowledge and agreement. If staff adds tips without our knowledge, I wonder what else they could be doing when we are not looking. Facilities are good but a little dated.
