The owners, Dennis and Karina were outstanding!!! They produced we would “ feel at home and not leave hungry”. They delivered. Little extras, providing fridge space, use of coolers, etc. Was greatly appreciated. Rooms were very clean and the grounds well maintained.
Not much. Location was fine but the walk to the beach was a bit a bit difficult. It is literally a two minute drive. Rooms were a bit small but fine for a couple.
The hotel is on a main road and it's impossible to avoid the noise from all the rooms including at night. Breakfast was rather simple and the most meager that we encountered during 3 weeks in Costarica.
Owners treated us like friends rather than paying guests.! Drinks in lobby fridge is on honor system … just mark it down and pay it with your bill. Insider tip…Save money by booking directly from them! Lovely clean pool and surroundings and AC in rooms,also a safe. Flexible menu for breakfast. Only one employee who cleans the rooms. Short walk to restaurants and the pristine uncrowded beach… howev...
Nothing Dennis nor Karina could control. The building site not faraway creates noisy trucks that lumber past and young people race their motorcycles on Sunday afternoons.. The nights are quiet. Benefits outweigh all the above.Read more

Dennis & Kari are the best hosts you will ever have. They welcome you as family from the first moment you meet them. Hotel is close to the beach and close to great restaurants. Their breakfasts are outstanding!
Dennis and Karina were amazing, welcoming hosts. They treated every guest like family. Breakfast was delicious and made to order for each individual. The rooms were very clean and serviced each day. There was plenty of room to utilize the pools and beach chairs. All the guests talked with one another. Parking was available. The entire property felt safe and secure.

Owners wonderful and very accommodating and personable, comfortable room, coffee and breakfasts excellent. Location close to amazing beach, several good restaurants, convenience store, all we needed!! Thrilled to count 12 monkeys in tree across the road. Small enough to meet other guests and enjoy camaraderie.
Street noise unavoidable. Howler monkey not happy either.
Dennis and Karina were excellent hosts, and very attentive. The breakfast menu was quite extensive, with good service. We were glad that it was just a short walk downhill to get to the beach.
I would have preferred on-site parking, away from the road. Also, traffic noise at times was annoying.
Karina and Denis are absolutely lovely and helpfull with everything. We arrived as tourists and left after 10 nights as friends. The location to the beautiful beach „Playa Carrillo“ is very close. Anytime again.
The only thing is with the noise from the close road. But this you have all over Costa Rica at the main roads.
